MESSAGE ON THE WORK OF THE DAG HAMMARSKJÖLD SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR JOURNALISTS
The Dag Hammarskjöld Scholarship Fund for Journalists plays a valuable role in connecting the important work of the United Nations to people around the world. By bringing young journalists to our Headquarters to see the United Nations at work, the Fund helps to make the Organization better known, and better understood, by the media and public alike. I cannot think of a better way for the media to keep alive the memory, spirit and legacy of my great predecessor, Dag Hammarskjöld.
